When to Travel To Napa Valley
Napa Valley’s shoulder season is April-May, September-October. This is the best time to visit. These months are still pleasant and there are fewer tourists. You will still see the fall colors in the Fall season. In the spring, you will see the first signs of spring: the blooming of vineyards and mustard flowers.
To be honest, Napa has been to my home many times in winter. We were able to secure reservations at our favorite restaurants, wineries and hotels at the best rates. The Winter can be harsh on the vineyards and vines, but California is warm and sunny.
Mid-week in October or April is the best time to travel if you want to save money. Many restaurants and hotels offer discounts during these periods.
