The bad reputation given to Kissing the Blarney Stone is not good. After COVID, I can only imagine the thoughts of people! People told us that people had peed on the Blarney Stone when we first visited it. But after seeing it for ourselves, we now know it is impossible to pee on it. The Blarney Stone is located at the top of a tower, with staff and security guards. The castle is locked after business hours. After each kiss, the Blarney Stone gets disinfected and is controlled. Although people might have used the Blarney stone to pee, this is not true today.
Mizen Head
While most people are familiar with the Cliffs of Dover, Mizen Head is a unique place to view the wild sea cliffs of Ireland. The visitor centre at Mizen Head has a fascinating history and is almost as impressive as the cliffs. Mizen Head, located at the tip of Kilmore Peninsula in County Cork, is a must-see attraction. The museum features life at the lighthouse and the Marconi radio rooms where he made his Transatlantic call.

Blackrock Castle, one of Cork’s oldest structures that remains in use today, is one of the oldest. It dates back to 1582 and is one of Cork’s most popular attractions. It has served many purposes over the years, including as a lighthouse and signalling station. It is now used as an observatory and planetarium.
